Accessibility Commitment

At Akashic Daughter, I am committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone, regardless of ability, identity, or background, feels valued and respected. As a solo Reiki healer, card reader, artist and meditation guide, my goal is to ensure that my services—whether in-person or online—are accessible to as many individuals as possible.

  • Online Accessibility: We strive to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 standard issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for all web and printed content and virtual services.

    This includes but is not limited to:

    • Providing subtitles and closed captions for all video and audio content.

    • Testing our web content with screen reader technology.

    • Ensuring accessible colour contrast and font size in content.

    Physical Accessibility: For in-person services, I do my best within the limitations of my current space to accommodate individuals with varying mobility needs.

    Communication: I am open to requests for alternative communication methods, such as written materials or video captions, to better serve clients with hearing or vision impairments.

  • I welcome individuals of all races, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities, and disability statuses. My practice is rooted in compassion and respect, offering a safe and supportive space for spiritual and personal growth.

  • As part of my commitment to integrity and professionalism, I reserve the right to decline services where it is not appropriate, legal, or within my scope of practice. Specifically, I am not currently working with individuals experiencing:

    • Schizophrenia

    • Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder)

    • Advanced Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

    • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

    • Bipolar Disorder

    Additionally, I do not engage in the removal of curses, black magic, or similar practices.

    I also reserve the right to decline services if I do not feel comfortable, do not believe I can adequately help the individual, or do not have sufficient availability to provide the care and attention they deserve. This policy ensures that every client receives ethical and compassionate service that aligns with their needs and my capabilities.

    This policy is rooted in my desire to ensure that all clients receive the best possible care for their needs. I encourage individuals seeking specialized support for the above conditions to consult with licensed professionals in those areas.
